Auckland is a major city in the north of New Zealand's North Island. There's plenty to entertain, explore and experience in Auckland, and many of the highlights are within easy reach from your hotel.
The city is based around two large harbours. In the centre, the iconic Sky Tower has views of Viaduct Harbour, which is full of superyachts and lined with bars and cafes. Auckland Domain, the city's oldest park, is a great place to spend some time and Mission Bay Beach, near downtown, has a pleasant seaside promenade.
On one of your days, you can take the Auckland City Sights Tour. This included tour is a great way to get and overview of the city and enjoy the commentary on the history and culture of the area.
