COVID-19 booking terms for this trip:
On 11 October, 2021, Fiji's Prime Minister confirmed an easing of restrictions, including the removal of quarantine requirements for arrivals from designated "travel partner countries" including Australia, New Zealand, the USA, UK, most of the Pacific Island nations and more.
Travellers will be required to show proof of vaccination and test negative for the virus 72 hours prior to departure. Upon arrival in Fiji, visitors will go straight to their hotel where they will spend their first two days in the country.
"They won't be locked in a room. They can use all hotel amenities and get settled in. Then, a Rapid Diagnostic Test taken 48 hours after their arrival will grant them free rein of safe travel areas, where they can take part in tours that allow our tour operators to make a living, shop for souvenirs and eat at restaurants," the Fijian PM said.
The two day period of hotel confinement is likely to be relaxed as more Fijians become fully vaccinated and we recommend you check the current restrictions in Fiji and Australia prior to travel.
We will advise you of the current travel conditions when you make a booking. The travel deal is 100% changeable, but the below information gives you an indication of fees should your trip be affected by COVID-19 and travel restrictions.
If flying with Virgin Australia, international flight changes are permitted for free up until 14 days prior to departure. If you need to make a change within 14 days of departure, you will need to pay the airline $80 per person to place your booking into a future travel credit. The future travel credit can be used on any Virgin Australia flights. If the same airfare is not available when you want to re-book, the airline will ask you to pay additional monies to cover the difference.
The cost to change the resort accommodation to new dates is $50 per person, only if the cancellation is due to COVID-19.
The package is non-refundable, but we can move your booking to future dates of travel by paying the above charges, plus a $20 professional service fee to cover our processing time to amend your reservations. The total cost to change your dates if your trip is impacted by COVID-19 is $150 per person.
Please note: Travel insurance companies do not cover COVID19-related cancellations.
