Celebrate the beauty of New Zealand’s North and South Islands with the freedom to explore at your leisure of a great fly, drive and stay holiday!
Fly to Auckland and pick up your hire car at the airport, then get set for an amazing 10 days of independent discovery. Spend 5 nights in the harbour city and not far from Auckland you can enjoy great day trips and make use of those unlimited kilometres. Discover Hauraki Gulf Marine Park that covers an impressive 1.2 million hectares of coast, sea and islands. Head to the West Coast, where the Tasman sea has carved out rugged cliffs and top surf beaches, discover Rotorua’s geothermal wonders or enjoy visiting award-winning wineries and tasting the regions many great culinary delights!
Fly south to picturesque Queenstown. Set against a backdrop of the dramatic Southern Alps, the town sits on the shores of Lake Wakatipu. As well as spending time in the charming village or being thrilled by the area’s variety of adventure sports, Queenstown is an ideal base for visiting the region’s famed vineyards, historic mining towns and great ski fields in winter!

Fly to Auckland
On arrival into Auckland, pick up your hire car at the airport and make your way to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to start exploring the harbour city.

Enjoy a half-day city sights tour of Auckland, dubbed the ‘City of Sails’.
The rest of your time is free to explore at your leisure. Not far from Auckland you can enjoy great day trips and make use of those unlimited kilometres. FLY TO QUEENSTOWN
See the snow-capped peaks of the Southern Alps as you arrive into picturesque Queenstown, a year-round resort situated on the shores of magical Lake Wakatipu. Pick up your hire car at the airport, make your way to your accommodation and then the rest of the day is free to start explore and maybe dine at one of the many fine restaurants.
QUEENSTOWN
Enjoy planning your own itinerary to explore Queenstown and take great day trips to nearby sights and historic towns. There are many optional activities available, including the famous jet boat rides or you might want to board the vintage steamship TSS Earnslaw and cruise across Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak Station.
DEPART QUEENSTOWN
Time to say goodbye. Check out of your hotel in the morning and drop off the hire car at the airport for your flight home after a memorable New Zealand holiday.
