The pass allows you to choose from over 400 properties nationwide. All the properties are independently owned and operated, assuring safe travel, genuine hospitality and exemplary service.
My Travel Experience can provide reservations for motels, hotels, holiday parks, resorts, apartments, B&B’s, farm stays, country stays and small luxury lodges. You need to pre-book the accommodation prior to arrival, so contact us today for a personal quote and itinerary for your ultimate New Zealand holiday!

Golden Chain is New Zealand’s premier motel group with more properties in more locations. Motels offer studios and/or 1 and 2 bedroom units with full kitchen facilities, off-street parking and continental breakfast. Each motel has its own distinct character, often reflecting the local environment.
Go Kiwi – Moderate Accommodation
Go Kiwi has over 115 hotels from a variety of brands, in over 50 locations throughout New Zealand – each property has been carefully selected for their location, quality facilities and high standard of service. Hotels have then been categorised according to a grading system of bronze, silver, gold, gold+, platinum and platinum+.
Select a B&B – Boutique Pass
Select a B&B is hosted accommodation offering a variety of options including Bed & Breakfast, Farm stay and Country stay at over 200 properties throughout New Zealand. They also offer a selection of small luxury lodges and very special establishments.

To enjoy the Kiwi Hotel Pass, you need a minimum of 4 nights and to book your stays at least 72 hours in advance. My Travel Experience can help book your travel arrangements and make sure you have a worry-free holiday!
End of Kiwi Hotel Pass...or you can extend
If you only booked a 4-night Kiwi Hotel Pass, then it's time to check out of your hotel in the morning.
Of course, if you'd like an extended holiday then make sure you book a longer Kiwi Hotel Pass with My Travel Experience before you leave Australia.

How to use the Kiwi Hotel Pass
Accommodation bookings should be made at least 72 hours before arrival. It's advisable to book 2 months in advance for stays during peak periods and school holidays. It is not recommended that the pass be used to book as you go and just turn up at hotels.
- Vouchers must be pre-booked.
- Minimum purchase is 4 nights.
- Unused open vouchers are refundable less a $25 administration fee.
- Unused pre-booked vouchers are subject to cancellation penalties.
- Surcharges apply in select locations.
- Upgrades available in select destinations - charges apply.
We charge a $50 per person fee to design and book a Kiwi Hotel Pass itinerary.
If you have your own itinerary that you would like booked, we charge $25 per person to book your hotel reservations, where 7 hotel nights or more require booking.
Important to remember...
Travel by nature is unpredictable. Weather patterns, road conditions, public holidays, travel restrictions and a multitude of other factors may necessitate itinerary changes that are ultimately for the client's benefit. It is essential that travellers are flexible and open minded in this regard.
