This whole area is a living showcase of Polynesian, convict and Pitcairn Islander history. We take you through the cemetery, where you will hear the history of the colonial headstones, as well as the old houses along Quality Row. You will also walk through the ruins of the New Gaol, see the Pier Store, Boat Shed and the Crank Mill - all of which has to be seen to be believed. This area is known as Kingston and Arthur’s Vale Historic Area.

Watch the milking, walk the edible gardens and see the cheese making. A thoroughly informative and delicious tour that will see you return to your accommodation to ‘Baelii ap’.
Fletcher’s Mutiny Cyclorama
Based on an art form made popular in the 1800’s, the Cyclorama is one of Norfolk’s most popular attractions. Here’s a few reasons to add this one to your Norfolk Island itinerary. Firstly, it brings to life the history of the Bounty mutiny and the Norfolk Island people. Secondly, it is one of only a small number of paintings of this type in the world. The stunning 360° panoramic painting surrounds you with impressive and realistic artwork. Above all, the Cyclorama has won multiple Tourism Awards and comes highly ranked on TripAdvisor. It really is an amazing experience with the ‘wow’ factor!
Breakfast Bushwalk
The Breakfast Bushwalk is a relaxed ramble through the National Park. You’ll walk along the Bridle Track which runs from Red Road to Captain Cook’s Memorial. Your local guide can help you identify local grasses, ferns, shrubs and trees as well as bird species. Tour departs 7:15am
Baunti Island Fish Fry
The Baunti Island Fish Fry is another must-do on your Norfolk Island visit. You will have an eagle-eyed view of the tiny crescent-shaped beach and the magnificent spread of ocean stretching to the far horizon. The beautifully set tables will delight you – it’s the most glamorous picnic you will ever attend! Scrumptiously fresh, local fish is prepared the local way and accompanied with a range of seasonal island dishes including those passed down from our Polynesian fore-mothers. This extends even to dessert. Our feast kicks off with entertainment, by a local singer and Tahitian-style dancers. We feel sorry for poor old La Perouse – he missed out on so much! But don’t you – come ‘long for ucklun’ on the Baunti Island Fish Fry. Here, you’ll be perched like an angel, between heaven and earth!
Commandants Dinner and Show
The Commandants Dinner and Show is a night of great entertainment, delectable food and loads of fun. This factual yet fun dinner theatre is Norfolk Island’s newest interactive show and a great way to learn about Norfolk’s history. The cast of actors will take you on an entertaining journey back in time. The Commandant’s stories about the notorious Convict Settlements on Norfolk Island will have you enthralled. During the evening, hear how the convicts were treated by sadists and reformers alike. Listen to a chilling recall of one of the infamous rebellions. Then marvel at how the Commandants and their families adapted to life in a Norfolk Island penal colony, recreating a little piece of England in the Pacific.
Explore their great challenges, impressive successes and shameful secrets. It’s a three-course dinner using local produce (when available) in keeping with traditional English fare to compliment the theatrical setting. Hearty, wholesome, British tucker fit for a Commandant and his good lady wife – fortunately prepared by free men in a modern kitchen not a poor convict over a wood stove! The Commandants Dinner and Show begins 6:30pm on Wednesdays at Paradise Hotel. Cash bar available.
Progressive Dinner
The Progressive Dinner comes highly recommended for any Norfolk Island itinerary. It’s the perfect way to get a taste of the real Norfolk lifestyle. Baunti’s progressive dinner takes you to some lovely homes on the island. All you have to do is relax and enjoy the home-cooked food, bursting with the goodness of fresh island produce. Chat with your fellow diners and soak up the stories of your island hosts. They’ll share their passion for their little island paradise. A complimentary glass of wine or juice accompanies the main course, tea and coffee served with dessert. You are welcome to BYO if you wish.
Depart Norfolk Island
Sadly, it's time to say farewell to Norfolk and you'll be transferred to the airport in time for your departure flight.

User Reviews & Comments
Kristen D.
On our recent trip to Norfolk Island there was no problems at all, the booking process was easy and the information supplied to us was great. The flights, accommodation and car hire plus the extra tours organised all went well, nothing to worry about for us. As for Norfolk, it's a beautiful island with lots of history, the fishing, surfing and walks where all great. The fishing is next level, if you're prepared to get out and about like us you will have a great time. Warm regards, Kristen D.
