Welcome to Lisbon with its Moorish and Roman ruins. Make your own way to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 7 PM. We recommend that you select flights which arrive no later than 5 PM

Lisbon City Tour
The morning city tour of Lisbon begins with a stop at the top of Edward VII's Park for panoramic views over the hills of Lisbon and the River Tagus. Next, view the treasured 16th century Belem Tower and the Monument of Discoveries, standing at the marina in Belem, starting point for many of Portugal's explorers. Afternoon is at leisure

Zafra en route to Seville
Depart Lisbon and head south. Cross the region of Alentejo, with its rolling hills, vineyards and cork oak trees. Reach the Spanish border and enter the region of Extremadura. Stop at the town of Zafra with its 15th century Alcazar (fortress). After an orientation tour, spend time at leisure. In the afternoon head to Seville, capital of the Andalucia region on Spain's southern coast. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Later, opportunity to attend the optional Flamenco Show in this city known as the birthplace of Flamenco

Full Day in Seville
Spend the day at leisure or, join the optional Seville City Tour. Begin at Plaza de España and the gardens of Maria Luisa Park before taking a walking tour in the quaint Barrio Santa Cruz, the former Jewish Quarter of the city. Continue to view the Cathedral of Seville, burial site of Christopher Columbus. In the afternoon, perhaps join the optional Palacio de las Dueñas. Tour the palace, built in the 15th century in Renaissance style with Gothic and Moorish accents and learn about its intriguing history. Following the visit, walk around Seville's Old Town

Cordoba en route to Madrid
Depart Seville and head north towards Madrid. En route stop in Cordoba, founded by the Romans. Visit the Mezquita de Cordoba, a grand mosque that was transformed into a soaring cathedral in the 16th century. A walking tour of the city reveals the ancient Jewish Quarter with its labyrinth of winding narrow streets, picturesque squares, and view of the 14th century Synagogue on Calle de los Judios. Continue north through the region of La Mancha, home of Don Quixote, featuring panoramic views of its famous windmills. Arrive in Madrid and check into your hotel

Madrid City Tour
The morning city tour of Madrid begins with a drive along the Gran Via through the Opera District, Plaza de Colon, and view the Royal Palace. Pass through Plaza de Cibeles and Puerta de Alcala Gate. Today, spend a full day at leisure in Barcelona, or join the optional guided Barcelona City tour, where you will get an introduction to the city and view its famous landmarks. View its masterpiece, the iconic Sagrada Familia (choose to visit independently). Then, continue along the elegant Passeig de Gracia boulevard to view Casa Batllo and Casa Milà, known as La Pedrera. Negative PCR or Antigen Tests
This helps to ensure the safety of travellers and staff, travellers may be asked to produce a negative PCR test or negative Antigen test in order to embark on the escorted tour, regardless of vaccination status.
Self-monitor for Covid-19 symptoms
Travellers are asked to self-monitor daily before the tour for any COVID-19 related symptoms. Travellers may be required to complete a Covid-19 Acknowledgement of Risk or to sign a Responsible Traveller Pledge (committing to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and fellow travellers).
Face masks and sanitising
It's recommended that travellers bring their own face masks for use throughout the journey, as well as spares. Always remember to practice good hygiene and wash or sanitise your hands frequently.
Adequate Travel Insurance
All tour travellers are required to show proof of adequate travel insurance before embarking on tour. Your policy of insurance is required to cover you and your party against the cost of cancellation by you; the cost of assistance (including repatriation - medical and non-medical) in the event of accident or illness; loss of baggage and money; protection against any Covid-related claims and other expenses.

In line with precautions from various government authorities, social distancing and face masks may be necessary on both rail and coach tours.
