Canada & Alaska trip overview
Begin with flights to Calgary, where you will be transferred to enjoy an overnight stay in Banff. Depending on the schedule, you’ll have time to explore at your leisure and could opt to take a gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain or relax in the Banff hot springs.
Next, board the magnificent Rocky Mountaineer for a rail experience unlike any other. The famous train journey offers a spectacular range of scenery as you travel between the high peaks of the Canadian Rockies, over mountain passes and through remarkable tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the interior. Overnight in Kamloops and continue west towards the Pacific, as the train winds through river canyons, pristine forests and lush green valleys.
After stopping in Vancouver for two nights to experience the vibrant city, board the 7-night cruise aboard Holland America Line’s Koningsdam.
Witness amazing views and wildlife as you sail through Alaska’s magical Inside Passage. Cruise by Tracy Arm Fjord and dock in Alaska’s remote capital of Juneau. Other ports include Skagway and the culturally-alive town of Ketchikan. Sail past Endicott Arm, Dawes Glacier, evergreen-clad cliffs and floating frozen “bergy bits” on this scenic voyage.
With the magical Rocky Mountaineer Railway, a luxurious cruise, many meals, hotel accommodation and more, this is an unbeatable Canada and USA package that you won’t want to miss!
