Is this tour right for you?
Egypt's history and culture have not changed but current political and cultural events have left their mark on daily life. Security is of primary importance and you may see more armed guards and police vehicle presence. We encourage you to travel in groups and not alone. Many domestic flights within Egypt depart in the early morning, requiring waking before dawn. Early morning touring is done when possible in order to avoid mid-day sun and humidity, and to ensure there is ample time to visit the destination. Local dress code, hygiene and diet recommendations are provided. Due to Egypt's proximity to the Sahara Desert, local hot winds bring sand and dust everywhere. This active program covers a good amount of ground each day. The pace is moderate, however you will encounter some uneven surfaces, stairs, steps and significant slopes.
