Is this tour right for you?
This value program provides the comfort of an escorted tour, with the freedom to explore on your own. Minimal inclusions plus a variety of optional excursions allow maximum customization. This moderately active program is intended to offer an introduction to the two most South African experiences, animal game drives and the city of Cape Town. Game drives take place in the early morning and late afternoon to avoid mid-day heat when animals are at rest. Game drives will be performed by small, non air-conditioned safari vehicles. During this tour, you may come into proximity of wild animals whose actions can be unpredictable. Certain inherent risks are involved which should be considered at your own discretion. Additional optional sightseeing is available to enhance your holiday. While on safari, on the motor coach and at remote lodges, WiFi service is not available or extremely limited. Short power outages are a regular occurrence in South Africa. Hotels in major cities are equipped with back-up generators so there are no interruptions to normal services, however hotels outside of major cities may have supplemental generators that provide electricity to only essential services.
Important to remember...
The day-by-day tour descriptions are intended as an indicative guide only and can vary depending on departure day. Travel by nature is unpredictable. Weather patterns, animal migrations, road accessibility, public holidays, travel restrictions and a multitude of other factors may necessitate itinerary changes that are ultimately for the client's benefit. It is essential that travellers are flexible and open minded in this regard.
