South Africa tour overview
Experience the worry-free convenience of an escorted tour, with the freedom to explore on your own during this value-packed African adventure!
This tour offers a great introduction to South Africa, including animal viewing game drives and time to explore Cape Town. Starting with a Cape Town city tour helps you get your bearings and pick up local travel tips. Then during your free time in the beautiful city, there are plenty of optional tours available for travellers who are keen to see as much as possible during your stay.
Fly to Johannesburg and drive to Limpopo Province, where amazing game drives and animal viewing bring the thrill of being in Africa to life. You’ll get to enjoy wildlife drives in open air safari vehicles. Early mornings and late afternoons are best, to avoid the midday heat when animals are at rest. This is your chance to look out for lion, leopard, cheetah, herds of elephant and buffalo, as well as bird viewing opportunities on a breathtaking safari.

Is this tour right for you?
This value program provides the comfort of an escorted tour, with the freedom to explore on your own. Minimal inclusions plus a variety of optional excursions allow maximum customisation. This moderately active program is intended to offer an introduction to the two most South African experiences, animal game drives and the city of Cape Town. Game drives take place in the early morning and late afternoon to avoid mid-day heat when animals are at rest. Game drives will be performed by small, non-air-conditioned safari vehicles. During this tour, you may come into proximity of wild animals whose actions can be unpredictable. Certain inherent risks are involved which should be considered at your own discretion. Additional optional sightseeing is available to enhance your holiday. While on safari, on the motor coach and at remote lodges, WiFi service is not available or extremely limited.
Important to remember...
The day-by-day tour descriptions are intended as an indicative guide only. Travel by nature is unpredictable. Weather patterns, sea or river conditions, road accessibility, public holidays, travel restrictions and a multitude of other factors may necessitate itinerary changes that are ultimately for the client's benefit. It is essential that travellers are flexible and open minded in this regard.
