This is a voyage to remember with a special Japan and South Korea cruise at the most spectacular and desirable time of the year – Cherry Blossom season or Sakura!
Begin with a flight from Australia to Tokyo, where you have two nights pre-cruise to explore the bustling city. Experience its diverse neighbourhoods, fantastic shopping, amazing restaurants and neon-bright architecture that’s flanked by tranquil gardens.
Then board Holland America Line’s award-winning Westerdam in Yokohama for the 14-night voyage to some of the most beautiful cherry blossom locations. The first three stops in Japan are Himeji, with its impressive castle, Kochi and the unforgettable city of Hiroshima. In South Korea you have a full day to explore Busan, the country’s second-largest city and a cultural centre. Then continue cruising around Japan to Sakaiminato, Tsuruga, Toyama, Sakata, Otaru and Hakodate in the north, on the second largest island of the Japanese archipelago.
